Dreaming the Dream

Dreams.....they are such an interesting part of being a human. I love dreams and at the same time they can bring about some of the worst disappointment. The worst thing is waking up from an amazing dream, only to find out that at this moment it is not reality. Dreams can also bring about great hope. Hope that whatever I can imagine, I can achieve.
Another amazing aspect of dreams are knowing the unknown. Taking a glimpse into the world of unconsciousness. I love knowing what my mind is really thinking about when its at ease. In psychology they tell you that dreams are the manifestation of your inner desires, thoughts, fears and feelings. In church they say dreams are the holy spirit revealing things that concern us. I have yet to fully comprehend what may just be a conglomerate of my daily thoughts and/or my hidden desires. As well as which dreams are actually God speaking to me about something.
At the end of the day, I do not believe in coincidences so I am sure that everything that finds its way into my dream is something of great importance....

Its a new Season

Hello luves! Its a new season...and I don't just mean weather wise. I'm not sure about you but I definitely can feel the need for some things to change in my world. With the spring and summer time things are renewed, they become new and bloom. I'm ready to be renewed, to be made new and flourish.
I always think about the saying "in order to have something new, you have to do something new" so I'm trying something new..commitment. Commitment to people, to a lifestyle to a way of thinking and being. I've always been the type of person that acts off of instinct. I do what I want and I apologize for none of it. Its very liberating, but at some point o you have to put that aside and try living with rules and regulations...or guidelines. This takes a inner change, a mental change.
With summer 2010 I'm ready to commit to a new me and an pledge to live my life within certain guidelines that will compel me to succeed. I hope you can relate to this and possibly be inspired to try a new thing. A great thing, a life changing thing. Trust God and love hard!

loving through the pain

If I had one wish, it would be to heal the world of all its pain....
There are too many hurting people, some of which deserved none of it. I met a beautiful girl through a friend of mine. She is gorgeous, one of the prettiest girls I've ever met. We all had lunch and she just started spilling her life story. She had been molested and beaten severely by her father her entire childhood. Only later to be in other abusive relationships.
I've been told she is a liar and highly competitive, always trying to have one up on someone else. (Much of which stems from jealously, not knowing her inner pain) All of what I've seen, I now understand where her behavior comes from. She, like many of us...are broken. Its a miracle she made it through all she had a has been through. At the end of the day I just want to help her in any way to continue to succeed in life. I've always had a support system and that has been the biggest blessing. Having the opportunity to be that for some else is all I desire. Many people do not have the desire to help anyone else. Our culture encourages us to be self centered. At the end of the day, if the only person benefiting from your life is you...there is a problem.

In order to be the change, you have to be the change. I refuse to let what others say about another keep me from seeing the person for who they are....a human being.
