So its more than clear that Atl is snowed in. Which means nothing is functioning like normal. While its nice to have a few days off to relax and what not, there are many who are missing out on money and other essential tasks. I for one think Atl legislatures should consider purchasing more salt trucks. The only reason GA is shut down is because of a lack of resources, the major one being a lack of salt for the roads. Now looking at other states who deal with snow on a regular basis tend to be prepared. While snow storms always cause inconvenience, what we have going on in Atl is minuscule.
However, if GA intends on purchasing salt trucks we need money to do so. Which means taxes would have to go up. I'm sure that is music to no one's ear! Lol, but its needed. Many people move here because its cheaper, compared to NY homeowners taxes alone are about 10x cheaper. Those taxes make a huge difference though, resources, amenities and facilities are created and funded through those taxes.
Just my thoughts, I'm all for paying for quality goods and services...something has gotta change.

New kinda love
Hey luves! Happy New Year :-)
Its been so long since Ive posted. I will do better this year!
So far Im loving everything about 2011. The good, the bad and the indifferent, I welcome it all! I have a new attitude towards life, I see everything for what it is and embrace it. Even the things that suck, I embrace. It all is necessary to prepare me for who Im called to be...so bring it on! lol
Seriously though, Ive been watching all the mental pollution on tv today...housewives, bball wives..and I dont get it. Why cant we as women love one another? why do we have to be so negative to each other?! Its so sad. We all have faults, someone will always be prettier, more rich or more fancy then you...so relax. I saw a tweet by a young guy the other day talking about how he hates women who look at another woman and tear her down. I sat back and thought about it...its really getting to be too much. These shows really glamorize cattiness, self hatred and envy. The funny thing is, when you talk about another person you are telling on yourself. You reek of insecurities when you tear someone down...
The moral of the story...Ladies: lets try something new....loving and supporting each other! it shows that you love and respect yourself and God.
