All I Need is One Gift

At church today Bishop Lester Love was the guest preacher. He delivered such an amazing word, I had to tell you guys about it. There is a story in Matthew 25 that talks about a leader giving talents to a group of people. One man hid his in the dirt & did nothing with it. While others who were given multiple talents, multiplied what was given. This story symbolizes our God given gifts. God has instilled in us many talents, some have 10, some have one. But all you need is one. The one gift you have if used properly will multiply and will bless many people & yourself. Many of us suffer from laziness and fear, both are dream killers...when all is said and done and God ask you, "what have you done with what I've given you?" What will you say?!.....just something to think about. All you need is one gift! Multiply, multiply, multiply!

Your life has more value than you may ever fully understand. God could have chosen anyone to live it and he chose you. Be excited, understand that it is up to us to prove that we are worthy of it. We prove that by action. Don't waste your time, don't waste your talent, your gift to the world. God loves you enough to let you know that this life is precious and this world needs you and your purpose. You are too great to sit back idly...so sit up, and stand up. Act on purpose!

Hurt me not

Hey luves!
I've been surrounded by so many people having friend issues, relationship issues and just overall people issues. It is so common for good people to be hurt by others. I believe it is necessary to remain true to yourself and love others as much as you can while not hurting yourself in the process. Being assertive is key.
Some people get hurt by another and swear to never love again. But that's cowardly, loving again proves that you have the power to move forward and in essence, you are victorious.
One thing that people guarantee is pleasure and pain. People will hurt you. Just how much you let that hurt effect you is up to you. In the season of love, choose love. Choose to love harder than you did before, choose to be a better friend, choose to share that joy God put in you, with others. Let's just use wisdom and be mindful of who we give ourselves to emotionally and spiritually.
