Crazy Peace

Watching the news this morning really shocked and saddened me. I watch the news daily but today was different. The craziness that I watched and read about was deeply disturbing. And I refuse to become immune to it. Every time we here of evil we should be effected by it.
I know that evil will continue in this world but it doesn't have to prevail. After I could no longer watch the news I decided to take a moment and allow God to reassure me that I along with all of his children are covered & protected from the evils of this world. I will continue to have peace & joy no matter what. And I will encourage & support others to do the same.
With knowledge comes accountability. This is my way of fighting back against evil. I will speak up & out daily about the greatness that awaits this world. The greatness of God :-)

Back to Basics

I believe its time we go back to the basics. It's always a good thing to remember the simple things that always worked for us.
In this case, male and female interaction. It is vital that we hold onto the importance of respecting each other. Especially with our youth. Young men need to understand the value of a woman, starting with respecting their mothers and sisters. No foul language around females, no sagging pants, holding doors open and being protective. With woman we must allow men to be the dominant force. We must never demascialate a man or try to devalue their role. We must be a support & cheerleader for our men.
All in all we must love and respect one other. We must teach our youth the basics...by example.
Building a solid foundation for positive male and female interaction can only strengthen us!
