You work to earn me. I'm not something wrapped all lovely that is hand delivered to you out of the kindness of God's heart.
You must put in work. You will need to sacrifice, compromise, experience growing pains and difficulties to have me for a lifetime. And this is all before you ever meet me. See God will make sure you are fit for a woman like me. He will not present me to you until you are ready. So when you walk up to me looking and sounding silly. I know you are not him. You are not the man who was molded into a King in preparation for his Queen. You must come correct, or don't come at all.
See my King is busy praying, studying, saving and maturing. He knows his purpose and he is attentive to detail. He is aware of me as I am aware of him. And as we wait until that reunion we sit & surrender to the potter and allow him to mold us and shape us into his design :-)
