So I was twitter today (as I frequently am) and I ran across a tweet saying soulmates went out with Eve and the garden...for some reason that just didnt sit right with me. Maybe Im a hopeless romantic, foolish or simply hopeful. I believe in soulmates. Ive experienced it in both friendships and romantic relationships. I think it is possible to find someone who shares a similar soul. Someone who makes you feel as though forever is attainable, someone who makes you feel as though you belong somewhere in this world, someone who knows what you are thinking before the thought processes, someone who was created to share your space. So yes, it is hard for me to think that soulmates do not exist...I believe that God gives us choices and I believe that there is more than one person for everybody. However, I also believe that you can find someone that fits you like a glove and vice versa, friendship and relationship wise. I have a friend that I met 10 years ago and we have been like sisters ever since. When we first met we hung out daily, and never got into an argument. People used to say they didnt know one without the other, we complemented each other so well. I always call her my soulmate, to this day I would give up anything for our friendship. Then I met another friend who seemed like an angel sent from above, we were just so similar and so compatible. It isnt hard to find a friend or a lover but it is hard to find someone who you feel was created just for you.
